More Brawl

I have discovered there really is no such thing as too much Brawl. I had another party last night, more planed this time.(but not really) Twas fun, not too many people, but enough that we could beat up on a variety of people. Mike, of course, was the overall winner of the night. We decided his theme song is now Slaughter your World from looking for group. Its maybe a little extreme. Maybe.
The next day I played Brawl again for a good amount of time after DnD. Beat up friends then bosses, and then got a sound kicking from Sonc, Snake and a giant Mario over and over and over. And a few more times, just to be sure.

I’ve started reading again which makes me really happy but annoys some of my teachers. yey. I just hope they don’t take any away from me. Reading in class is bad, but in some of my classes *cough English cough cough* nothing interesting is going on so I don’t feel so bad about ignoring them. I’m taking any and all recommendations so if you know any good books, let me know.

I got a new Kagrra CD. Its really good, better than the last one at least. I haven’t gotten many new CDs lately because I’m saving up for Kubla con(its coming up!) but I started making a list of what I’m going to buy after I get money again. I still don’t have the FFIX soundtrack which I have been meaning to get for years. For all I listen to them I don’t have any of the TMBG CDs but I think I could borrow some of those from one of my friends. Those are my top 2 but I also want another more Zelda, Death Note and FFXII music. Also Larc en Ciel has a new CD I want. Minus the horrible x-mas song.

College searching is going better. I want to continue Japanese for sure and maybe chemistry? Right now I’m thinking undergrad liberal arts with a study abroad opportunity. Not sure where exactly, hopefully on one of the coasts and not too close to home.

The best news yet is that I might be able to go to Jenny Lin after all. Its not all worked out yet, but theres a chance now. Anyone else planning on doing that this year?

The weather is starting to turn hot…I hate the heat, it makes me sleepy and sluggish. Icky

彩の讃歌
Kagrra

Brawl

I had a Brawl party last Friday, sorry to all the people who couldn’t come. It was a last min sort of thing. I might have a more planed one at a later date, if people are interested. My living room is a little small for a party though. it could be at someone else’s house….

I’ve been playing too much Brawl… its so fuuuun. I have too much homework to play every day. I still really like Fox. He’s been my favorite character sense I started playing the game. I was afraid he would change or get nerfed( he did a little) but he mostly stayed the same. My love of Fox and all foxes is still intact. And will remain the same for a looong time. Deal with it.

I should try a new character. Maybe Link… buuut I like Fox.

A song I listen to too much:
Anna Ng By: They Might Be Giants

Make a hole with a gun perpendicular
To the name of this town in a desk-top globe
Exit wound in a foreign nation
Showing the home of the one this was written for
My apartment looks upside down from there
Water spirals the wrong way out the sink
And her voice is a backwards record
It’s like a whirlpool and it never ends

Ana Ng and I are getting old
And we still haven’t walked in the glow of each other’s majestic presence
Listen Ana hear my words
They’re the ones you would think I would say if there was a me for you

All alone at the ’64 World’s Fair
Eighty dolls yelling “Small girl after all”
Who was at the Dupont Pavilion?
Why was the bench still warm? Who had been there?
Or the time when the storm tangled up the wire
To the horn on the pole at the bus depot
And in the back of the edge of hearing
These are the words the voice was repeating:

Ana Ng and I are getting old
And we still haven’t walked in the glow of each other’s majestic presence
Listen Ana hear my words
They’re the ones you would think I would say if there was a me for you

When I was driving once I saw this painted on a bridge:
“I don’t want the world, I just want your half”

They don’t need me here, and I know you’re there (don’t need me)
Where the world goes by like the humid air (world goes by)
And it sticks like a broken record
Everything sticks like a broken record
Everything sticks until it goes away (it goes home)
And the truth is, we don’t know anything (don’t know)

Ana Ng and I are getting old
And we still haven’t walked in the glow of each other’s majestic presence
Listen Ana hear my words
They’re the ones you would think I would say if there was a me for you

Ana Ng and I are getting old
And we still haven’t walked in the glow of each other’s majestic presence
Listen Ana hear my words
They’re the ones you would think I would say if there was a me for you

Ana Ng and I are getting old
And we still haven’t walked in the glow of each other’s majestic presence
Listen Ana hear my words
They’re the ones you would think I would say if there was a me for you
